Import from Mexico, this dvd is a double one.I fact u have 2004 and 2005 edition. I prefer the performance for the first edition of Dokken. Which play "kiss of death", "breakng the chains" into the fire", Don has still a good voice. The most interest of the dvd is the presence of Quiet Riot. Kevin is still rock, good performance, still have this specific voice and the vibe on "bang ur head" is excellent.One more king of heavy metal with Twisted sister whith "the price" or " i wannnnnna rock". One thing to add about Dee Snider, he speaks too much between songs....little boring.Except that still one of the best frontman. For second dvd, bands such as Metal church, Beyond fear, Hammerfall with good songs 'renegade' 'heart of fire" but the sound is not correct....sorry for them.WASP begins with the excellent "love machine", "animal..." "i wanna be somebody"...but the sound is till not good and for the show, fuckin stupid to se Blackie take an axe to cut off meat...we are no more in 80's and he isn't 20 anymore......sad !Final show with Mago De oz.
Official dvd , the dvd has a menu & chapters.Nice stage design ( a old warship with cannon fire)....really nice ! if u like heavy melodic speed with violin and flute.Jose sing in spanish and get dressed liek a pirate. The arena is full tonight ( 2/7/04).Many cameras with a good image make u feel happy. A show to see.
New double dvd from Manowar, little bit expensive, but very complete. It's not a full live show but a whole range of concerts...from Germany to Spain or Turkey ( excellent to see diehard there). The sound is very good "hail and kill" , some stages are huge "sleipnir" in Spain or "mountains " in Germany.That's the point to highlight, every shows has a good quality, close to the fans and u will get one's money's worth ( the orchestra play with the band on " king of kings" in Czech Republic or the warriors on stage "sonsof odin", "gods of war").It's a real pleasure for fans, the videomontage is very nice , never boring. The second dvd is more a documentary with strange fans ( the "Manowar" café in Budapest or the building made of painted Joey DeMaio's face).Footage from the " death to infidels 2009" with images from France....and metal moments ( dedicated to all the crazy fans). Kings of METAL ! Is that all !
For this mini dvd of 41 mn u have 2 versions of the video clip "warriors of....", a long version and an edit one. U have bonus like Manowar trying to be funny in a bar or a tv show made by TV TOTAL in Germany. Very good atmosphere, funny and Manowar try to explain that they play loud to make an orgasm for women....after they play in live "warrior of the world". For fans !
Just bought dvd today with a nice menu to select songs or bonus. First, the image is excellent even in the dark. The visual is also nice with a beautiful stage and the special drum kit ( remenber the video clip) and also the big cover of "rust in peace" ( happy birthday ) at the rear of the stage.No more Marty Frideman/ Menza but the u have the return of bassist David Ellefson, drummer Shawn Drover (member since 2004), and recent addition guitarist Chris Broderick (ex-Jag Panzer, Nevermore).Another good point, it's the number of cameras with many close together plans and u won't have headache. it's not as quick as lightning.
Dvd with menu and audio selection ( dd or 5.1). Bonus with 4 parts "Underground live show"with 5 live songs filmed in black& white; "Megadeth on Magadeth" a long interview of the band, "Gargano megadeth"message written in english by Paul Gargano, a music journalist, "get more Megadeth" without interest. The interest for fans except the show is the line up with Al Pitrelli (Widowmaker, Savatage..).The show contains 24 songs with classics "Symphony of destruction" "peace sells", "hangar 18", "a tout le monde" but also unusual "wake up dead"....A big show. The image could be better, too much bright.....
One more time a dvd with many videos ( official, live & bootleg). So u have good stuff "Cinderella" ,"Dangerous Toys" ( could be a great band) and bad stuff such as " Love/hate", "Bullet Boys", but also promo clips " Icarus witch", "Samson"...many things are well known so just for curious but to avoid if u have a big collection..
