Not the best dvd from japanese L'arc en ciel, but u will be fully satisfied. Indeed, u have two dvd's, one with the show with a nice stage ( many lights) and a large audience. The image is vevry professional and a sound in 5.1.Nice to see the band reach a second stage in the middle of the audience by a coach. I regret the missing of madness in the attitude, the look is not everything. But the show is quiet great....just look at this.
Last dvd from L'arc en ciel. This edition is a double one and the price too ( if u get the import or u have to wait).U have the biggest show in France given by a japanese band. U have the full show here, even the accident on " seventh heaven". The image is nice, many cameras to film the show ( really well done), the stage is medium but with many lights ( many yellow spots to make it warm), flames & big screen. Everything to give a good concert and make u happy ( just to look the auidence, the place was packed). We learn that this concert has been broadcasting live by japan TV.One thing, we don't hear the audience too much, it's a pity for fans.
Recorded July 31, 2004 in USA, the show give us an idea of th J rock power around the world ( after L'arc en ciel in Paris....). it's not their greatest show by the quality ( colors, cameras from the bottom, less effects than usual...) or by the mix..Get the show recorded in Japan.
Here is a nice ( cause not very expensive) double dvd from Lacuna coil and in region free.U can find 4 videos (image in 4:3) with the nicest video "our truth" or the cover of depeche mode "enjoy the silence" or " closer" ( the single used by Guitar Hero III).U have two shows: Wacken 2007 ( if the voice of Cristina is good is not the same for everybody) with 11 songs in multi cameras. Good image, good sound but not memorable. Better to look "loudpark 2007" Tokyo, still during the " karamacode tour" but it's indoor ( big audience) and the sound is less clear but more heavy. For the second dvd u will many footage in english, behind the scene.I don't know if it's interesting or not (depend on what u expect) but just know that people can be happy because 20 years ago it was hard to see footages ( like first time in Japan) from metal bands..............so enjoy !
Beautiful digipack ( with also 2 cd's) and a nice menu. The main interest is the concert in Oktoberhallen Wieze , Belgium ( 20/10/2007) with a big stage ( even if Liv doesn't move too much) and a nice Drakkar (ina blue light atmosphere to remind the winter in norway). The image is beautiful ( but in 4:3) and the sound very clear ( no subtitle for lyrics and it's a pity). That's a really good package, many pictures. In the other dvd u have a main documentary of 150 mn and many videoclips.
The dvd bootleg has a menu and chapter selection. The sound is correct mostly for guitars. The image is old. The dvd filmed is 77 with several cameras with many plans on Page or Plant.U get a big set list (Two dvd's) with all big hits , even "stairway to heaven".
If U like the metal queen, u can get this dvd 5 with all the videos in good quality. Really pleasant, the videos are nice & funny , very 80's ( she has made 8 cd's with a music more hard US than metal)...u will have good time during the 55 mn.If u wanna news , i quote: "Aaron began performing cool jazz and blues and released her first jazz album, Slick Chick, in 2000. In 2002 Aaron performed with Vancouver's Modern Baroque Opera Company for the premiere of the opera 120 Songs for the Marquis de Sade by Peter Hannan. Lee Aaron released her second jazz album in 2004 " .To return the dvd, if u go to the menu u can select the videos or bonus. But not so many bonus :Sweet Talk(Alternate Version) and a Lee Aaron's Biography ( without subtitle) well done.
DVD from Lita Ford is a good news. For audio: 5.1 or 2.0 DD. Good menu with 3 videos "Kiss me deadly" (one of her best songs), "Close my eyes forever" ( with the madman Ozzy) for a nice ballad, and live performance in a Wembley stadium. For bonus u have videos.
Yes, i know, too many dvd's from loudness ( almost 18'). But that one has a really good quality and with the two original menbers Akira Takasaki and Munetaka Higuch (since 81)i.I warm u, it's not the old Loudness but the modern one ( look and music). It's not a full show, footage between the songs...even old document on "crazy night" (u can see the evolution of the band for the neophite). The stage has nice modern look and the cameras made a good job about all the musicians.
The singer of Loudness is the ex EZO ( two albums) Masaki Yamada.U can find 4 songs ( that's why u can get it for a low price)."Black widow " (video), "slaughter house " ( live version), "everyone lies" (live), "waking the dead" (live) .The quality is good ( even too much lights).
